Digitized Works

By Susan Rudy

The primary purpose of this site is to make the complete work of Fred Wah available. It is still in process. The out of print texts are being uploaded first. Please scroll to the bottom of this page to see the texts that are currently available. New digitized works are being uploaded daily.

Eventually, the site will include scanned digital images of as many of Fred Wah's texts as possible. In the case of recently published and available work, portions of the text will be available here with a link to the publisher.

The site will include not only books, chapbooks, and ephemera by Fred Wah but also poems, articles, and reviews published by him in little magazines, journals, and books dating back to the 1960s. It will also include materials edited by Fred Wah as well as a wide range of secondary and critical material published from the 1960s to the present.

The files have been scanned from original print materials and are available in full pdf form. They are all searchable.

Each file includes an annotated bibliographical entry which can be found in the box entitled "Catalogue Description."

As they are uploaded, the files are identified first by letter (A-H) and then, chronologically, by number, based on a structure borrowed from Roy Miki's A Record of Writing: An Annotated Bibliography of George Bowering (Vancouver: Talonbooks, 1989):

So far, most files are from Section A. But new material is being added every day. Check back again soon!
