The Workingmen of Toronto, an adaptation of The Workingmen of New York, is performed on March 26 at the 750-seat Royal Lyceum in Toronto. The theatre had already presented Toronto by Daylight and Dark, or Life in the Queen City, an adaptation of New York As It Is, in 1863 as a "local drama in 4 acts."
